• Associate Professor Joram Krozer
Associate Prof Joram Krozer is the Director of Research at the Cartesius Institute, University of Twente, Netherlands. His previous positions include Senior consultant and Director at the Institute for Applied Environmental Economics (TME), The Hague; Senior economic consultant at Tebodin B.V., Consultants & Engineers, The Hague; and Co-ordinator of the Economic Advisory Group at the National Environmental Forum, Utrecht.
• Professor Allan Åke Johansson
Professor Allan Åke Johansson is Emeritus Research Professor (Clean Technology) at the Technical Research Centre of Finland, Reader in Physical Chemistry at Helsinki University of Technology and Visiting Professor (Clean Technology) at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) , Lund University. The expertise of Prof. Johansson in the area of renewable resource management and sustainable development is of high standard and is highly regarded internationally. Prof. Johansson has more than 20 patents relating to clean production, and over 100 scientific publications in theoretical chemistry and clean technology. Current research interests of Prof. Johansson are the use of biomass and renewable resources in cleaner production technologies with particular emphasis on distributed production systems (i.e. biochemical hydrogen production, small fuel cells and changes in the transport system) .
• Associate Professor Renato J. Orsato
Associate Prof. Renato J. Orsato is Senior Research Fellow at INSEAD Business in Society (IBiS), Fontainebleau, France, and Visiting Professor at the School of Management (ICAN Research Centre) at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). Until 2004 Dr. Orsato was an Assistant Professor at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE), at Lund University, Sweden. His current area of research interest addresses the conditions favoring firms to transform environmental investments into sources of competitive advantage. His recent publications include:

• Professor Harry Rothman
Harry Rothman has worked in science and technology policy studies for 40 years, and holds the position of Visiting Professorial Fellow in the Institute of Innovation Research, University of Manchester, as well as visiting positions at Nottingham, Cardiff and Ballarat universities. He has a first class honours BSc in zoology from Durham University, and a Ph.D in science and technology policy from Aston University. He has published nine books and over 100 scholarly articles and reports. His current research interests include the commodification of Nature, environmental issues, Futures Studies, and new learning technologies. His most recent book, co-authored with Peter Glasner, is "Splicing Life? The New Genetics and Society" 2004. He is Editor-in-Chief of the journal Technology Analysis & Strategic Management and co-Editor of New Genetics and Society, and is a member of the editorial boards of Transformacje and On the Horizon.
• Professor Ezio Manzini
Professor Ezio Manzini is the Director of Research Design and Innovation for Sustainability Unit and coordinator of the Doctorate in Industrial Design at the Milan Polytechnic. Prof Manzini is also a visiting lecturer at the Tohoku University in Japan. His works are based on strategic design and design for sustainability, with a focus on the scenario building and solution development. Prof Manzini has been involved in several international commissions, expert panels and working groups. He chaired the Distinguished Scholars Scheme at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prof Manzini is widely published. He is member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Industrial Ecology (USA), Journal for Sustainable Product Design (UK) and Design Philosophical Papers (AU) .
• The Honourable Tom Roper
The Hon. Tom Roper currently lives in New York and has been involved in environmental policy at all levels – local to international. Since his retirement, after 21 years in parliament in Victoria, Australia, he has been an active Board Member of the Washington DC based Climate Institute, the Prague Institute and Greenfleet (Australia), an advisor to government, business and NGOs on sustainability issues and an Honorary Life Member of the Metropolis Association. He provides briefings on climate change developments and green building issues for the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment and the Building Commission. He is the Project Director of the Global Sustainable Energy Islands Initiative, which provides assistance to Small Island States seeking to introduce renewable energy and energy efficiency measures. During his ten years as a senior government minister, his portfolios included Treasury, Planning and Environment, Health, Transport, Aboriginal Affairs, and Employment and Higher Education. He was the Leader of Government Business in the Legislative Assembly.
